Greetings…
About this time yesterday Kyle and 3 friends left Lisle for our nation’s capitol and today’s Inauguration festivities.
They arrived at 4:00a.m. this morning, and called us from the Mall at 6:30a.m.–sleepless, but thrilled to be part of such a historic day.

Winter Walking

It was beautiful walking this morning–still not too cold, and not really windy. Bundled up it felt good. Some parts were slickery, but walking in the tire prints of the cars and snowplows was the safest spot to be. I walked just over 3 miles in and around Parkside Estates.

We’re looking forward to Kyle’s girlfriend, Jessica, visiting us this weekend. Jessica lives outside of Denver, Colorado and is flying back to Illinois Thursday and will spend Thursday and Friday with us before she and Kyle head back to spring semester at Benedictine.
