Happy Friday!!
Busy, fun weekend! Three weddings, proms, proms, proms, and all of the other fun we usually have!! The storm and rain have kept our gardening friends at bay, and we hate when that happens!! We miss them!!
Lots of crazy creative juices flowing through our design room today!
This directions for this wrist corsage was that it was to go with a bubble gum pink dress. Love the mix of soft pink roses with the bright pink gems, which catch the sparkle of the ribbon. The wristlet was a keepsake bracelet of sparkly pink gems as well. After prom is over she can remove the corsage from the bracelet and wear just the bracelet.
Lots of couples choose classic, elegant black for their color scheme and accent with a bit of cream and silver. This luscious boutonniere features 2 creamy white tea roses, accented with babies breath, a splash of sparkly clear gems, and we’ve wrapped the stem in a black and silver combination. No need to worry about being stabbed by a pin, this boutonniere comes with an easy to use magnet.
Most popular color of this prom season? The teal and turquoise colors are huge!! Love this matching boutonniere and wrist corsage of roses spray painted to match the color scheme and accented with sparkly gems, babies breath, and neat bows. We’re seeing couples ordering their flowers more often, than on their own. When they place their order together they know that the corsage and boutonniere will be exact matches!
Our designers love when they can be creative and their order says nothing more than, “celery green dress, designer’s choice”. We love to play with colors and how they accent each other while being respectful of the age of the person wearing what we’re making. This sweet mix of spring pastels is to compliment a celery green dress.
Gerbera daisies are always a best-seller, but they are becoming increasingly popular with our prom crowd! This is a germini ( mini gerbera daisy) which is the perfect size for a boutonniere accent with citrusy fragrant boronia.
Wrist corsages are the most popular for all of the dances, but we still do have orders for clutches like this one. An elegant gathering of creamy white roses and babies breath accented with sparkly gems and a neat bow and streamers in blacks and silvers.
We’re also busy with three weddings this weekend. Teri created this loverly bridal bouquet of creamy white Virginia roses. Doesn’t it look like whipped cream?
This romantic bridal bouquet of all red roses is collared by a pearl garland that Kris handmade this week. Teri looped the garland around the base of the bouquet when she finished it creating a collar that perfectly matches the pearl detailing in the bridal gown.
Don’t you love this centerpiece idea for a wedding reception? That’s an LED light pad at the base illuminating the cylinder filled with clear stones, water, white dendrobium orchids, and red roses. Can you imagine the jaws that drop at this reception tomorrow night?
Garters are still very popular for prom, but to purchase one customized to your specific prom colors can be pricey. We take an inexpensive white garter and accent it to match your prom color scheme. This one has a yellow bow accented with yellow silk flowers. We’ve also added charms, tied flowers into the streamers, and even added sparkly gems. Your imagination and our creativity can make beautiful things happen!
Stay dry and warm tonight. We’re lucky to have purchased tickets for the Southeast School fundraiser featuring Fay’s Barbecue. Yum!!
More tomorrow- : )
