Michelle Schulz, that’s who! I always wanted to be a sportswriter when I grew up, but found myself working in our family business, Kar-Fre Flowers. How lucky I was able to continue to do the things I adore in my job at the flower shop. Talking, writing, mingling, and more!
Occasionally there is life outside of Kar-Fre and I love spending it with…my family! My parents, sister and I work together everyday and can’t imagine not going shopping, out to eat, or just hanging out when were not at work!
My husband Scott and I have 2 kids that keep us laughing and add to our crop of gray hairs!
Kyle is 24 and working on his Master’s degree at University of Illinois, Springfield. He has two internships–one as a research analyst for the State of Illinois in Small Business Development for the Department of Economic Development and with the Springfield Chamber of Commerce. And he still finds time to come home and help at Kar-Fre Flowers
Maggie is 18 and a senior at Sycamore High School. She aspires to be an athletic trainer, medical examiner, or perhaps a plastic surgeon someday. Her passions are soccer and her social life!
You’ll learn bunches about me through this blog…like I still adore David Cassidy, songs that I can sing along with, and have a goofy sense of humor! I’m so glad you stopped by…please leave me a note about who you are!
